We have now produced our own car stickers that adhere to the inside of a front or rear screen. If you would be willing to help us advertise our service in this way, please contact us by clicking on the link below. We will post one or more out to you free of charge.
SOME CAKES!!
The Christian Life Centre in Oxford ran a coffee morning and cake stalls in aid of New Kapporet on 12th September 2026. They managed to raise the unimaginable figure of £2855 to support our Christian helpline. What a fantastic effort! Many thanks indeed to Pastor Cindy and everyone who contributed to such a fantastic fund-raising event.
SOUP & ROLL FUNDRAISER
Volunteers and supporters at Riverside Church in Southwell ran a fantastic fund-raising event at their Church Centre on 28th February. The offer of different home-made soups and a roll, an amazing cake stall, raffle, gift sale and lively conversation generated a large crowd and the event raised over £750.00 for New Kapporet. Many thanks to all those people, who came and enjoyed the lunch and extras, and, especially, to all those amazing volunteers who made or donated the lunch, cake and gifts, and hosted such a wonderful time for everyone.
NEW INTERNATIONAL EMAIL MINISTRY
In 2024 we started to receive an increasing number of emails from people in distress or despair, who live in countries outside of UK. We began to realise that many Christians around the world may need listening and prayer support but cannot easily access our Christian Helpline. So, on 1st January 2025, we launched a new international email ministry to enable Christians, wherever they live in the world, to access our support for free and at times that suit them. NEW WEBSITE DESIGN
In December 2025, we launched an entirely new design for our New Kapporet website, making it much easier to navigate and find the information you are looking for, whether you aim to access our helpline or email service, donate or volunteer. Our aim is to consolidate our social media presence and maximise the number of hits on our website, making it easier to find on all search engines. The new design is also far more mobile friendly, as we know that most of those who seek information about us are using mobiles rather than computers. The new website was designed by one of our volunteers, who also happens to be a specialist in this field. So all our funds can continue to go to support those who need our services.
YORKSHIRE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE
These two brothers, Dexter (14) and Zeke (11) successfully completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge on 25th May 2025 in aid of New Kapporet. For those who don't know, this involves a total distance of 24 miles and an ascent of 4531ft - all to be completed in 12 hours. All they urgently required at the end of their endeavour was some chocolate cake. In total. they raised £1500 for the Ministry.
